practice character sketch

It is 45 minutes before the game. Tension is high and everybody is nervous, everyone but Troy Rooks. He is calm cool and collective. He knows what has to get done and he knows how to do it. He doesn't show the team his intense desire to win, because he doesn't want to put unneeded stress on the team. He jumps into his black spandex onesie and tells the team if they win he will show them his shakira performance in the locker room. Giving the team this boost of motivation without screaming his head off like most leaders the team leaves the room and plays a hard 60 minutes of hockey. The team looses and are waiting to see the famous shakira onesie dance in the shower next year, this is Troy. Anybody that knows him would agree, he is a leader, and humorous.

character example

In the movie pulp fiction a very important scene is when Jules and vince are standing there and a guy jumps out of the washroom and unloads a clip and doesnt hit either of them once. At this point in the film Jules character relizes he needs to change his life. He belives that the hand of god came down and stoped the bullets. this is a major turning point in his character. He wants to get out of the business of killing and crime because he has changed his morals. Quinten tarantino really changed his character from a man that is into crime and drugs to a person that has morals and belives in a higher power. Tis scene was very important to the development of Jules because without it there would be no reason for him to want to change.

character development

A movie i have watch recently was pulp fiction. The character i found most interesting was Jules Winfield, he was played by Samuel L Jackson. the reason this character was so interesting is because he seems very refined and organized individual. You find very quickly that he is gangster and is not afraid to kill. but he can still have a normal civilized conversation with a person not like most gangsters. He feels sympathy and compassion but if there is a job to done is not going to think twice. He is very organized and scheduled their is no wasted time in his day. Later in the movie you find out that he believes in god and that he thinks he witnessed a miracle and that he does not like the life he is living and thinks that it is time to change his ways. You find out that he he feels guilty for all the people he has harmed.

In this film Jules is very complex and hard to read character. Throughout the movie his entire view on life changes and his characteristics completely flip. this happens over the entire course of the film and you can watch him develop into a different person. It doesn't all happen at once because there is some crucial events that change his view on life. His best friend and partner doesn't want to see him change because Jules is very good at what he does.
