character development

A movie i have watch recently was pulp fiction. The character i found most interesting was Jules Winfield, he was played by Samuel L Jackson. the reason this character was so interesting is because he seems very refined and organized individual. You find very quickly that he is gangster and is not afraid to kill. but he can still have a normal civilized conversation with a person not like most gangsters. He feels sympathy and compassion but if there is a job to done is not going to think twice. He is very organized and scheduled their is no wasted time in his day. Later in the movie you find out that he believes in god and that he thinks he witnessed a miracle and that he does not like the life he is living and thinks that it is time to change his ways. You find out that he he feels guilty for all the people he has harmed.

In this film Jules is very complex and hard to read character. Throughout the movie his entire view on life changes and his characteristics completely flip. this happens over the entire course of the film and you can watch him develop into a different person. It doesn't all happen at once because there is some crucial events that change his view on life. His best friend and partner doesn't want to see him change because Jules is very good at what he does.
